Last few days, this solar-charged, radio-synced Oceanus chronograph has been my wrist buddy. I love that it never needs winding, nor setting, and that it is always absolutely accurate to the second. Grab and go. Could not be any less demanding nor any easier to have and enjoy. The lume lasts all night and the time is pretty quick and easy to read at a glance - for a chronograph. Case finishing is top shelf, as well. These aren't inexpensive watches, nor readily available in the US, but I find well worth seeking out. (Admittedly, I never use the chronograph or other features - I just like the look and precision of the watch and use it to tell time.)

When I'm not wearing one of my solars, I keep them on a countertop in a room across from a window. As a result, they're all always fully charged and running. Much as I appreciate my mechanical watches, I love the solars every bit as much.

What a lovely Casio.
The Oceanus line really flies under the radar. I've got a T200 that I adore. Zaratsu polishing, killer blue sunburst, wild attention to detail.
I say let them keep flying under the radar, keep 'em from price spiking.

Great selection there, man.

In case you're wondering, you're not missing out with anything far more expensive. Luxury watch segment is a scam. Watches costing as much as a new car or even a house? No. You can pay thousands more to end up with a watch significantly less accurate and less durable. Most expensive watch in my collection was the one that broke down faster than any watch I have ever owned!

Apply the flame of a bic lighter until you heat the adhesive up, pop that sucker off w/ a razor blade.
It's not too bad.
Just don't do it on acrylic!

Yeah, yeah, where'd I hear that before? ... lol

Seriously, thanks, I watched a guy on YouTube do this on his Seiko (hardlex crystal). I have a Dremel butane torch (although I saw guys use this type of torch) the flame, IMO is a bit large / wide. So, if I tried doing this operation, I'll buy a small butane lighter at a local convenience store, or Walmart.

I guess, I'll place the hour and minute hands to the nine o'clock position, and second hand facing six, and twelve o'clock, then take a deep breath.

But, yeah. The Huevos is still in question! ... lol
