Sweet destro. Looking great after its spa day! After 8 weeks. I picked up the TaWaTec today, after getting it's tubes replaced. Couldn't be happier with Alan's work @ MilitaryWatchExchange.

What a lovely Casio.Last few days, this solar-charged, radio-synced Oceanus chronograph has been my wrist buddy. I love that it never needs winding, nor setting, and that it is always absolutely accurate to the second. Grab and go. Could not be any less demanding nor any easier to have and enjoy. The lume lasts all night and the time is pretty quick and easy to read at a glance - for a chronograph. Case finishing is top shelf, as well. These aren't inexpensive watches, nor readily available in the US, but I find well worth seeking out. (Admittedly, I never use the chronograph or other features - I just like the look and precision of the watch and use it to tell time.)

When I'm not wearing one of my solars, I keep them on a countertop in a room across from a window. As a result, they're all always fully charged and running. Much as I appreciate my mechanical watches, I love the solars every bit as much.

Everybody needs at least one of those indestructible beasts.
It's unfortunate, but they don't use the green EL anymore, apparently. It's all LED now. My calendar is still good through 2032, though...
In case you're wondering, you're not missing out with anything far more expensive. Luxury watch segment is a scam. Watches costing as much as a new car or even a house? No. You can pay thousands more to end up with a watch significantly less accurate and less durable. Most expensive watch in my collection was the one that broke down faster than any watch I have ever owned!
Take it to an independent watch-maker, and have him replace the crystal with one that has no cyclops.Man, I wish I had the huevos, to remove the cyclops on my Seikos. YouTube makes it look easy, ..... till it's NOT! ... lol
Apply the flame of a bic lighter until you heat the adhesive up, pop that sucker off w/ a razor blade.Man, I wish I had the huevos, to remove the cyclops on my Seikos. YouTube makes it look easy, ..... till it's NOT! ... lol

It's not too bad.
Just don't do it on acrylic!
