So true. I have had quite a few perfect EDC over the years... they seem to always get bumped for something more perfecter. Hrmmm. I realize now that I will always want a variety of different lights of different sizes, styles, UI, batteries etc. for different uses and just for fun.

That said, my silvertail Rotary NLT has been in my pocket virtually every day since it arrived. It is indeed a very fine light. Probably the best of the many HDS I have had the pleasure of owning.

I'm looking forward to adding a black 303 rotary tail to my F89HG, which will make it close to perfect. The panda look isn't for me, but greatly value the increased robustness offered by SS over 6061 AL.

I have a NLT, it is awesome. Not the prettiest on a white wall, but in real use it is great. Mine is on a 18650 body (aluminum switch) with a Ti Trit bezel. Agree with your statement, variety is the spice of life!!
