Whats a good light meter cost.?

Since no one else has answered yet, I'll shoot you a "pretend-a-answer" and I say that because I don't have the name of the unit. I believe that good ones can be purchased for under $100. Sorry I can't help more than that.

I don't, but it looks to me like a nice unit. Probably really overkill for measuring flashlight output, though, lots of photography tools that wouldn't get used..

I think it can triger a camera upto 100' away, and data log readings.

This sounds very useful for measuring small changes in output, and repeating photos.

I just got a Canon 5D

If you are into photography that would be a great choice, just make sure that you don't overload the sensor, maybe we could get you to be our officially CPF beamshot and reading tester.

No kidding. With a meter like that, we might just have to put him to work..hehe. :nana:

Well if I get that meter, I would be lucky to find time to even use it.

I may just go, the $70 Ebay thing, though if i make small changes to

my short arc, I would really like to Know the delta, good or bad.
