Yes, i do consider being a member to CPF a privilige and an honor. A Privilige that can be easily taken away as it was given. And i hope this privilige is not taken away from me for this post.

This is what i consider a privilige and a benefit. One that can be taken away. Unfortunately, arnold doesn't have a "special" page setup. You need to tell him you are a CPF member to get the deal he has offered.

I think KT was under the impression that CPF members were prepared to post bad feedback on the forum if they didn't get the higher power models. However we are a lot more respectful in that sense I think... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Usually if bad feedback is posted about a known good seller...it is stamped out quickly by the majority here in the laser forum. The good sellers should be recognised and credit given whenever possible...I myself will always defend them.

Although I agree there are rare occurrences of lost in postage/faults/other problems. It is a bit un-fare though where a user reports one of these instances on here because of the amount of traffic.

It seems that I need to make my post a bit more clear.

I wasn't aware of the deal that has been advertised here.

LaserModifier, thanks for setting me straight here - that's how it was meant. There are some people who think that being a CPF member gives them priviledges, which is not the case. They expect the dealer to go over and beyond for them. This doesn't win any sympathy contests for us - if you know what I mean.

before i make any purchases, i do a little research, these forums have been most helpful. i get to weigh the pros and con of these dealers from reading the posts. people's personal experiences with these dealers helped me tremendously in making my decision. i will praise a dealer that sells what he promised. i'll have no problem trashing one if they dont sell what they advertised. and if any bad experiences from these dealers are not freely expressed. then this is not the right forum for me. but abusing a dealer to get something more than you are entitled to. or lying that can easily be picked up. we maybe respectable to the dealers that deserve it. but er are not stupid. there are enough scammers around. there are dealers who may have had a good reputation,but are beginning to slack off, or become to complacent. dafiend was only offering me advice or anybody that read that post about offering cpfer's a better deal. no extortion or blackmail was ever hinted. i had purchased from abeland and he offered it to me. i never mentioned to him first. i only told him i got his name from a couple of forums, and they only said positive reviews. so even though its after the fact. thank you dafiend for your advice.
