I don't buy batteries and chargers from third party sellers on Amazon / EBay / wherever, unless I get recommendations from good sources like experienced members here on CPF. Too much risk of getting fakes otherwise.

For example, I got a good value XTAR VP2 charger from seller ecoluxshop on EBay UK, after seeing recommendations from CPF member ven. Haven't bought any cells from them yet, but ven says they're good for that too.

I've also had Panasonic chargers, lots of Eneloops and 1.5V / 9V lithium primaries from iCell Media via the Amazon UK Marketplace. The products have always been good, although I did have one irritating incident where they cancelled an order because it was "too big" and they said it would be a problem to ship. Why they didn't just send the stuff in multiple packages is beyond me.

If I can't find a recommended seller for the item I want, I'll always go with one of the larger dealers like MyFenix, Flashaholics or NKON, even if it costs me a bit more.

I'm also happy to buy from Amazon UK themselves, when they're the ones selling the items - I've had plenty of Duraloops and Eneloops by that route too. It's just the third-party sellers I'm more cautious with.

Amazon is the best! I swear, you could send them a bag of dog poop and they would give you a refund ...

I recently ordered a new G-Shock watch from Amazon, and they sent me a dirty, used one that looked like it had been worn for 3 months before being returned to Amazon. After I pointed out their mistake, they did quickly send me another one, with next day shipping.

Is there a reliable eBay or Amazon seller for getting authentic Nitecore I4 or D4 charger, with shipping to South East Asia ?

Orbtronic for batteries. Ebay or Amazon for Olight (Li-Ion) charger, and Tenergy (Nimh) "C & D" charger. And Costco for Eneloop AA/AAA combo charger kits...

I use batteryjunction.com for mostly all my battery purchases. I have used Amazon once or twice for them but mainly stick to the junction. I will try out LiionWholesale because of the comments.

It's hard to get a killer deal on button tops...noone seems to have them at the really low prices. I'm not complaining about Mountain Electronics prices, but I'd sure like to have a button top source with these 4 for $16.99 deals!

I have bought my batteries from Illuminations Supply and most recently from Mountain Electronics both have had everything I need and have provided excellent service. The excellent service is as important to me as price if not more so.

Decided to give Amazon another chance, so I ordered a quad of Imedions and a quad of Rayovac 2400mAh....we'll see how it goes. Free shipping option with Fed-Ex as the carrier. Should have them by next week.

I bought a 16 pack of Eneloops that were loose, out of the package but they worked. Some of the Eneloop cell wrappers were chipped, but again they work and the wrappers are still intact. I did mention this in the shipping that they didn't do a good job with ensuring the cells were in the packaging. Hard to say the reason they were loose but you should be able to give packaging feedback on that particular order you had with loose batteries. That's the way i would do it, and why it's there so Amazon can make some changes when more people are having this issue. I see some of them simply write a 1 star review saying 'batteries were not in it's packaging' which won't do anything but lower the ratings for the batteries, which is what the reviews are for, not for packaging feedback.

I agree. Two separate reviews should be done. I did both. I rated the batteries for what they were on the "product" review and then I submitted a "packaging" feedback review as well. The packaging feedback submission was how I got my $10 dollar certificate from Amazon. Sent them pics of the package too. Got the generic apologetic e-mail and that they would look into it.

Batteries (Powerex) are working good so far, so we'll see what this shipment reveals....

I buy my batteries from Illumination Supply and more recently Mountain Electronics; both are specialists and have excellent service. If ever there would be a problem these two suppliers will take care of it. :)

Both quads arrived today from Amazon. Other than the Rayavoc quad package being a little worn, both quads (Imedion too) were completely sealed and appeared to be brand new.

Looks like Amazon will be getting a 5 star packaging feedback review on this order.

It may help to contact Amazon directly, they will look into that more when an actual person responds.

I ended up going back and forth with them quite a bit. They ended up practically paying for the Powerex quad with the $10 certificate. It was only Amazon who I interacted with, since they were the actual seller and shipper of the quad.
