Lets hear what you guys do for a living! What do you guys do day to day?

I'll start, im still attending univeristy, trying to finish my business degree

According to the Forehead AKA. Paul Begala.
I am a "has-been shut-in malcontent"! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crackup.gif

Production Manager for a 2000 seat Theatre, doing 250+ touring shows a year from Phantom of the Opera, to Bill Cosby, to David Copperfield to Operas to Kenny Rogers, you name it, if it's been on stage we probably did and will again it.

brock, wow, so do you get free tickets to all the showings?

Anyone here on SWAT?

I'm paid to NOT go to work. I retired as a Senior Radiation Protection Tech. from the Comanche Peak Nuclear Power Plant.

Electronics engineer (freelance)

Upside: My commute is 10 seconds to either my PC or my lab downstairs

Downside: I don't make much money (yet)

I'm a Production Manager for a relatively small australian company. We supply corporate uniforms, Sports uniforms (specialising in Sublimation Printing), Sports supplies and promotional products. Its a pretty good wicket. I enjoy going to work. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif (the way it should be!)

I am currently self employed doing a little bit of everything, tyring to find my nitch.

However, i am a certified financial counselor specializing in foreclosure prevention, housing counseling and education. I spent quite a few years doing it and intend on going back to it. In fact i recently interviewed for a housing director job for a well know non-profit in California.

Realtor / Mortgage Broker / Real Estate Developer

That is on a good day.

My current occupation: I get up in the morning, drink the strongest coffee I can make, check the TV, WWW and the mailbox and fantasize that someone will hire me.

I currently work for Verizon supporting (shameless plug) FIOS customers.

Previously, I held a job that defied conventional description (and did not have one) - I guess "engineering technician" is what I claim on my resume. I did mechanical engineering (drafting, some design, documentation) and was the "it" guy (helpdesk, net/sys admin, planner) for a small manufacturer.

Like the nickname says I am a police officer. The name was given to me by the area kids as is tradition in my area. My Department is fairly large with about 850 sworn personell. Been doing this for about 7 1/2 yrs now and still enjoy it.Formerly I was working at Carroll Tire Co. on the dock.Worked there for over 10 yrs before I decided to try law enforcement...never looked back. I am the shorter one in this pic. and my old partner made me look even shorter as he is about 6'4. Maybe others here can add a pic of yourself at work...I always enjoy these kinds of threads.

Hmmmm, started out in 1975 as an F4, T33, C130, F106, Helicopter, (and a few other assorted heavier than air craft)Avionics Navigation Systems technician (328X1) , then we combined with Avionics Communications (328X0).

Then "they" changed the AFSC number to I forget what and I ended up as an F-15 A/B/C/D/E Automatic Test Stations/Manual Test Stations/Electronic Counter Measures shop chief somewhere in the scheme of things!

Are you/were you in as well?
