Well,I'm excited to see those 2 new little arcs too, though I already have a arc AAA PE, I'm now on the arc AA's wish list.

I hope arc AA will be equipt with Luxeon star too...What do you think?????

New orders for the AAA/AA should be possible in about 2 weeks. We are waiting on more tested chips to come in. The chip manufacturer gets 2 reels in, pulls the parts off the reels and runs them through an automatic tester that is programmed to test a sequence of scenarios. Next, the parts that passed are placed on an empty reel and sent to us.

The engraving scheme is as the most recent production: the word "Arc" and nothing more around the lip of the battery compartment. Our engraver misunderstood our request and made about 90 battery compartments with the old complete "Arc Flaslight AAA LED" inscription but then switched to the correct, "Arc" inscription. Regardless of the inscription, if you get it from us, it will be the latest electronics.

I've got an AAA-P that says checked mar 15 2004, is this the new electronics? Was this just a small batch?
