My best guess is they are either being discontinued [like the AW C's which "out of stock" also became a prime indicator] or AW is having issues turning them out due to heavy demand [which I do not see that as likely for 1/2AAs dont really have a particular role in flashlights]


I'd post a WTB in the CPFM's non-lights subforum and hope for the best
