ok i traded a computer for a panosonic fz15 digital camera.but the battery seems to be not so good i need new battery but it shows up at 50 bucks..there has to be a cheaper place.i mean thats insane for a battery.any ideas?

unfortunately, rechargeable Li-Ions for cameras are all about that much in price.

Ebay is a good place to look.
I've got a couple of "Canon OEM" batteries for my camera. They cost me like $6 but they work really well. i know Canon says not to use em but I've been using them for nearly 2 years w/o any problems. Of course, Your Mileage May Vary.

you can do a search for the battery name on ebay and it should pop up if anyone sells em.

The local Circuit City carried the lithium canon battery that I needed and I happily bought it there. But it was so old that it failed to hold a charge and I returned it. All their stock had been lying around for several years it seemed so i ordered from batterystation.com instead and got a perfect, new one.

So a second vote for batterystation.com /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
