I have a U2 that Vinh put a 219b 4500K 90CRI in for me. It is a spectacular light for outdoorsy adventures! You can't beat that old light with a beautiful new(ish) emitter in it.

I also have an 18650-U2, modded by Nitroz with an XML-EZW (yes, sort of dates my last SF upgrade cycle).
One of my favorite lights even after all these years; as far as I'm concerned, the U2 is the finest light SF has ever made. Good to see ya nbp

And you as well, K! I still lurk a bit now and again when I have a few spare minutes. I'm a Flashaholic and Bladefreak at heart, after all. Generally speaking, most of my lights probably seem "old" now. Haha. My newest light is a Hoku I picked up here on the MP which is pretty nice and sleek for dress pants carry. There is always room for something new from time to time.

Similar sentiments. I still check in somewhat frequently, but life has presented many challenges in recent years. It, too, warms my heart to see familiar people here from over the years. Best wishes to you as well!
