Where to buy 'bits' from when based in the UK (Ostar in particular)

Where do the UK based forum members get their bits n bobs from?

I got my Cree's and optics for my bike lights from Cutter in AUS.

I'm after a couple of the 1000 lumen Osram Ostar emmiters + reflectors or optics.

Also is there somewhere to buy other high powered leds other than the Crees?

Any pointers gratefully recieved

I recently tried HARD to get the good 4-die versions and no shop was able to just understand what I wanted....

Explained to them, that the original item number (in my case LE W E2B MXPX 6K8L) means anything from the dim MX to the bright PX and anything from color 6K to 8L
and I just want ONLY the brighter ones (PX or NZ) and maybe a color choice

--> no way any of the shops offered me anything other than "MYPX 6K8L" again.


hey, one of them costs more, than the average order of a common customer of retail electronic parts will be and here its just a single item to take ...
should be a bit more interrested one would guess

PS: You can order Crees or Seouls from cutter, dealextreme, most other stores (but the cheaper ones also might have not the real things, there is nothing printed onto the emitters any more.
Recently we got some R2 from cutter and they are the bomb. The Seouls from DX were, ..., Seouls)
PPS: I recommend Crees over Seouls
