I'm looking for a source of Eneloops in the U.S. Do any regular stores carry them?

Can I use my Energizer 15 minute charger or will that fry 'em?

Where are you located in the US?

Fry's, Target, Walmart....

I haven't tried them on my Energizer 15 minuter, but I don't see a problem with them.

Amazon has a good deal on them..~20 for an 8 pack ...might be hard to beat that price in a B&M store

I see that KaiDomain now has Eneloops, although they're not a great price. I think I'd go with Battery Bob.

Just so you know . . . .

When i went to my local Circuit City, the Eneloop 8-AA package display
stated $29.99 in great big letters.
(errr, i mean numbers) :)

Simply tell the clerk or cashier that "i heard these are on sale for Twenty Bucks".

They'll look up the item on their video screen,
and see that the sale price is actually $19.99.
Sweet !

But . . . .

I've gotta' think they'd be selling even more of 'em,
if they had the low price plainly listed.

Got 'em, and they're great !
You'll be pleased.

the sale at Circ.city must have expired here in my city. I just purchased the 8 pak for $27.96.... I had a hard time finding them in the store. One employee had no idea or even heard of an Eneloop. Luckily I was also looking for a SD card and the Eneloops were right by them in a different section than the "normal" rechargeables.

Could be that this sale has expired. :mecry:

Bought mine back in early July.

Hate to think that i can't buy any more. (at that price).

Just for a price reference, I picked up the Eneloop package from Costco that comes with 8x AA cells, 4x AAA cells, 2x C-cell adapter, 2x D-cell adapter and a four-cell AA/AAA charger for $27 and change.

I've only had them a few days but so far have been rock-solid performers in my handheld Ham radio!

I picked up three more pack of AA's at HHGreg yesterday for $7.99 each so they still have them.
You can use them with a charger like the Energzier 15 minute but shortening their life is kind of silly since you can charge them up well before 15 minutes prior to use since they don't loose their charge.
