Where to buy LTC3490 (SO-8)

Hi All,

I am looking for some LTC3490 IC's in the SO-8 package, but have been unable to find these anywhere. Linear and their distributors have them in the small pinless DFN package, but that is a little beyond my PCB making abilities for now.

Does anyone know where I might be able to find 5 - 10 of the LTC3490 IC's in the SO-8 package?

It is a non-stock item, and is not even available. I have tried to buy it directly from Linear, too. It shows up in a search, but is not available when you try to add it to your cart.

Thank you for the offer! If I am unable to find them stateside, I may take you up on that. I have a WTB in the Custom B/S/T forum, and hope that yields a few. It may be a sign that I need to learn to deal with the pinless IC's. They seem to be the way of the future.

DIP hardcore are already swearing when SO-8 appeared. Pinless?!?!

Tip: You can use pinless IC mounted upside down but you will need tiny wires to connect the 'top pins' to the circuit board.
