Where to find a cr2 light

Lots of choices depending on your budget, how much are you willing to spend?

I have the HA(Nat) version of this little guy

This is the black type2 ano. Out of stock though. Kai or QCG may have 'em though.

Mine is badged "Luxogen LR12W"

Nice looking flashlight which is solid and easy to operate. Good size, though probably could be smaller for a CR2 - then again that would hamper ergonomics.

I run mine with an RCR2 and it has been modded with a seoul. Nice output - didn't bother to modify the reflector so it's a fairly wide floody beam.

Gets very warm, but not *too* warm as the Seoul doesn't ever turn its angry blue (which it WAS doing in the light I harvested it from)

There's also this one here http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.900

This one I would imagine uses the same circuitry though a different casing.

For <$20US these are fantastic lights once you whack a seoul in there (and even the default lux3 was good... but it died!)

i have been looking for a cr2 light lately for an edc what are some decent choices
I use a CR2 Ion for my EDC (on my keychain) -- not the brightest light on the market, but it works well for my purposes. Peak LED Solutions offers a CR2 for its "Pacific" light, and I think a Pacific with a Seoul LED and a CR2 body would be a very good EDC.

I have a Peak Pacific in brass, ultra power, pocket model in my jeans pocket. It is bright enough for all of my needs. You can get it for $40 in a 3W Lux or a Seoul for an extra $10.
It is a fine light and comes in HA, or brass in a pocket version. I have 2 (the second is on a AA pocket body) and I am tempted to get a third in Seoul.

My primary EDC is a CR2-Ion in Titanium. It's quite bright on low and VERY bright on high. Run times are 40 hrs and 1.5 hours respectively, and that's regulated. It is truly keychain sized. But it's pricey.

For my good friends, I have given and/or recommended Jil Direct Drives. Long run time, simple, well built for the price, and small enough to really BE a keychain light. If you go for a direct drive light, stick to premium CR2's as the voltage on lesser batteries sags.

I'll give another vote to the Peak Pacific. I have one with a CR2 body in brass and they are very nice. I have been considering getting one with a Seoul and with ultra power. Very small and bright with a decent runtime.
