I'm looking for a 12V SLA battery with 4.AH or 7.AH capacity. I've checked Conrad but their prices are pretty high. I could buy a 12V rechargeable spotlight which would be cheaper since the price of a spotlight is generally lower then a spare battery and the charger (although dumb) is already included, however most spotlights sold in our stores are advertised as 12V but are in fact 6V. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Anyone from Holland know where I could get one? Thanks in advance.

this guy just became a cpf sponser...seems nice. i'm not sure if he can do international, but i think he might.

btw, how much to rent your sigline? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I can do it. Pick your brand of battery, but shipping will be high. Probably in the $25 neighborhood. We used to sell a lot more internationally, but recently we have really been clipped on stuff that is not shipped by Fed Ex or UPS. I liked the USPS, but too much not getting there all of a sudden. I still have a cute little 12v 1.2ah gel cell that someone can have for $10 shipped too. It is a new orphan battery. Powersonic.

Roth, it's one or two flashlights per month. Depends on how large it will be. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif Interested?

Kevin, you're 'out of my league'. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Aren't there any Dutch members who can help me out?

Perhaps I could connect two 6V batteries in series...

The only place I know is conrad and maybe you can try the German Ebay...lots of gell-cells, cheap but shipping could be high...I have a 12V 100w spotlight from Perel tools. It has 2 4.5 Ah 6V gell-cells in series and it cost me arround €20, maybe you can try to find one!

You can try de Brommershop , they seem to have a 4AH 12V gel accu:

accu scooter alle types,behalve honda sfx,x8r,bali,scoopy vanaf 96(accu YTR4A-BS)

Maybe you can check some mopedshops to see if someone in your neighbourhood carries them and save some shipping as well... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Hope this helps,

1-2 flashlights huh?

do $.25 keychain lights count?

can i just send you a maxabeam for lifetime rentage? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

You might want to check a shop which sells or services fire alarm or burglar alarm control panels. Most of these use 1 or 2 12V SLAs for battery back-up.

Hi Bart

Thanks for the link. You know, I was thinking it's better to stick with the idea of two 6V 4Ah batteries (that I already have) and connect them in series, as I'm only going to use them for a small DIY project anyway. And I can charge them with the chargers that came with the spotlights, so there would be no need to buy a 12V charger. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Wim, do you have a link for the Perel Tools spotlight? Groetjes uit Nederland!

Roth, keychain lights do not count, except for Photons. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif You could also just send a Maxabeam, that would take care for like 25 years. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Hemingray, I already did that but they are all 1.2Ah.

Velcro,
I just found the light on the webpage of Velleman (www.velleman.be). Go to All products->Consumer & PC->rechargeable spotlights. This is the 6V 55W variant, but it has also 2 6V 4,5 Ah SLA's and it is available in the Netherlands🙂
