All my d and c cell lights are running rechargeable AA's In adapters, still like my mini mag PRO but. It's only like a 2 hour lightStreamlight 1L-1AA.
My 2C Mag ML25 used to be my favorite AA light (running AA's in adapter sleeves), but now I run it on mostly on a 21700 in a adapter for longer run time, if that makes sense?
Those are great - I have 3, a 100 lumen camo, a black 300 lumen and a 350 lumen with a yellow switch button.I only have a few AA lights and I'm not sure if this one is my favorite, but it is the most frequently used. It resides in a leatherette pouch in my car, with it's tail inserted into a traffic wand.

It's a Rayovac Virtually indestructible 2 AA light.
I have what I thought was 150 lumen (but maybe it's 100?) version but put a Malkoff M31 in it. The Rayovac module was in a SolarForce L2M body cut in half to hold 1 cell. But I replaced it with a module from the 300 lumen version. The 300 lumen body got an M31L.Those are great - I have 3, a 100 lumen camo, a black 300 lumen and a 350 lumen with a yellow switch button.
They have a Spectrum version, very nice shade, but PWM can annoy some peopleView attachment 34817
This is one of my favorites.
Malkoffs. Also L3 Illumination and Acebeam see some use.View attachment 36126
Man those are nice. I'd pay big bucks for that orange bodied one. Are any of those the nichia 219b model? If so, you are very lucky. That is one of my grailsMalkoffs. Also L3 Illumination and Acebeam see some use.View attachment 36126
Funny, had a 219b that was a catch and release here on CPF. Liked the sst20 neutral more. Too many rings. I think people underestimate that Gene knows what he's doing, choosing the best overall led's for his modules. Gotta love the orange!Man those are nice. I'd pay big bucks for that orange bodied one.
