Which Battery Chemistry for LF2X?

For those of you who EDC the LiteFlux LF2X, which type of cell do you keep in it? I'm torn between keeping mine loaded with an L92 or the 10440. My LF2X will be used mostly for the lower settings, 15% and 50% brightness.

10440 will beat NiMH (Eneloop) at all brightness levels. L92 will probably be better but doubt it'll beat 10440 by much if at all... and then considering its $15 for a charger and two 10440s from AW, why not?

Just keep in mind at all settings 10440 is going to be twice as bright as NiMH/L92. So if you like NiMH at 100% you only need to set it to 50% with a 10440. THis is good all the way to the lowest light levels.

If you want an extremely dim light, NiMH at 0.2% is the best you can do. 10440 will be about twice as bright-- which can then be a downside.

Also with 10440 make sure you turn on the the battery protection thing... so it shuts off before you over discharge as there are no protected 10440s.

I have the LF2 SSC P4 and use the Energizer Lithium primary - I don't anticipate much use at higher output levels - my light gets pretty warm when on for awhile - it is now my low light around the house light.
I recall seeing longer runtimes with the Lithium Primary.

I use a 10440 but the only problem is that when the protection kicks in you have no light all of a sudden. In the unlikely event that you EDC only one flashlight this could be a real problem. :naughty:

On the contrary an L92 lithium primary will not leave you in the dark. :candle:
