Hey guys, I am looking for a cheap charger for some Li-Ions. I'm getting started into this stuff and am fairly aware of the dangers of Li-Ion. I will be charging mainly 14500 protected batteries. Most possibly I will be added RCR123's ,18650's, and 10440's for when I will inevitably get flashlights that use them. I don't want the post to get closed so I will not post links to the items I'm asking about.

SINCE Cr123A Battery Charger $5.37 at DX site SKU1212

Nano Li-Ion Single 3.6V CR123A Charger $5.57 SKU998

I can build adapters to accommodate the different battery sizes.

I don't know the DX one, but I have a couple of nano chargers of different sizes (including a 123-size one) and I can vouch for them as reliable and safe. All reports I have seen on CPF back this up, and I have not heard of any problems with them.

Incidentally, to avoid confusion, CR123A means a primary NON-rechargeable cell. Do NOT try to recharge one of these!

The rechargeable ones are R123 Li-Ion cells (there are various ways of referring to them, but always starting with an 'R').

You should not however use a nano to charge larger batteries than it is designed for, as the charging rate will be too slow. For larger cell sizes (17xxx, 18xxx) I recommend the Pila IBC.
