I guess I need a Ripoff holster, just not sure which one. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/help.gif

I carry my A2 in a ripoffs co-124 holster which I originally bought for my L4. Fits perfect except that I have the trim tailcap. When I get home later I'll try it with the McE2S switch and let you know.

Fits perfectly with the head down. Tailcap down is snug but useable. PICTURES

Would a KL4 with McE2S switch fit in there too? Kl4 head is a bit larger than the A2.

Kl4 fits snugly but still useable. Follow up to what I said before; the McE2S switch is the same diameter as the A2 head and it does fit in the pouch fine. Because of the flanges it doesnt slide in as smoothly. My pouch is fairly new and I have only had the L4 and A2 in it(head up). I dont think you would have any problems with any of the configurations you mentioned.

I've bought a number of Ripoff holsters from http://www.holsterdepot.com/
They seem to have a good inventory and ship rather quickly. One caution I would mention is that measuring your light always isn't the answer, but is a start. My reason for saying this is that the flap length is a consideration. The light may fit perfectly well in the pouch, but how much flap is contacted by the Velcro is a consideration. I guess what I'm trying to say is how much overlay does the flap have onto the pouch body itself. So you may end up with a pouch that doesn't have enough flap connected to the pouch body, making the possibility that the flap may come open. There are many lengths of Ripoff pouches so you may have to experiment till you get the best length to give you a full plan closure or as close as possible. I will say Ripoffs are a very well made heavy duty holster.
http://www.ripoffs.com/ is the home page for them, but they don't sell direst to the consumer.
I hope this has helped and not been confusing.
