which mini mag drop in is best? any runtimes?

InReTech = direct drive (brightness dims in proportion to batteries draining), more color varieties(?), less $$

Sandwich Shoppe = regulated (brightness stays even for a period and then drops when batteries can't pump out enough juice), more circuit variety (current/voltage - pump up the lux!), a little more $$ (but you are paying for more circuitry design/parts/labor)...BTW a MadMax will utilize a single AA cell far longer than other drop ins... I think .8 volts is minimum...

What else, I've just touched these lightly...someone with more knowledge than myself can perhaps detail them better than I...

I own several of each...throw a couple lithium cells in and you have a long lasting and bright torch!
