I know minimum drive voltage is 3V and max current is 320ma but thought it may have its uses.What do the panel think?

This would be perfect for medium usage flashlights. 300ma output is just below the max current for a luxeon. Something like the Energizer Double Barrel or even a C cell flashlight would reap big run times with this circuit.
