Interested to know how attached people are to this site and to see if people missed it during the upgrade outage

I think I deserve some credit for being confident enough in myself to admit that I missed CPF a little during the outage. However, there is a silver lining in every cloud - while the site was down, I used my time to rediscover the other aspects of life I didn't know I was missing, such as sleeping, working, and attending to personal hygiene.

Now that the site is up again, I'm happily ignoring all of the above, as in the past, while I gobble up the pithy and fascinating information in all of the posts on this forum expressing such poetic and timely thoughts as:

"nice light!"

and:
and the ever-popular: :paypal:

Some might think that this particular post is irrelevant or off-topic, or created just to build up my post total in my signature. Obviously, they could not be more wrong- I'm above all that. I just hope the moderators will be reasonable and will not

I just sat in front of my PC pressing refresh until the site came
back up

Yes I missed CPF but being down may have saved me some $$$.
I couldn't order anything:eek:
Billy

It wasn't a big problem -- I used the time to work out my order for two more flashlights. Sometimes you have to look at the dealer's sites too. :broke:

I tried to get my fix on the MP but was suffering traumatic depression from not winning a give-away or having money to buy anything.

I went to the UG but quickly closed before I could run my mouth about some things.

I went to bed mad and sad.

Now I'm more upset than with 2400 new posts on CPF I can't find one that interests me.

I got such withdrawals that I am finding it hard to get back into posting :(

But alike search , there aren't many topics of interest to me at the moment.

I look at the LED section and scratch my head. I don't understand most of the thread titles :)

I don't keep up with new stuff enough I reckon. I'm the old Ford guy who doesn't understand the deal with Honda when it comes to flashlights.

It was awful!
Cried myself to sleep.

Not sure what time you went to bed but you might not have been alone!

The sweating and shaking was starting to get to an almost uncontrollable level.

Yeah, I'm addicted. Nice to know I'm not the only one though. :D

it was great,.

Some people who never frequent CPFM went over there instead and I saw alot more people there than usual!
