I know Arc and Peter Gransee are wonderfull and have great products. But with SF's Lifetime Warranty and proven history can someone tell me why I should go with an Arc LS.
I know Arc will be at the leading edge as will be seen with its use of High Dome LS's and the new 5W but with some cost of reliability. Would the quality, as far as construction, between the two companies be similar?
"Buy them both" is difficult for me with a $100++ light.

That's why I write somewhere in other thread that for those price range, my preference lean toward SF E1e or E2e with KL1. You have choice between incasdescent (long throw) and LED (white, smooth and even beam, longer runtime). Plus LS that SF module use also hand picked!!!
What more can you expect (except for 5W LS module)?

An advantage of the Arc LS with 123 body is that it's (IMO) sleeker and more easily pocketable then a E1 body. Of course there is no tail cap switch on the LS either. As for other factor's Peter had suggested himself, one might want to purchase a KL1 as Arc intends to go out of the Luxeon low dome business.
