While this is correct when wiring an RGB LED yourself, it is not correct in regards to Peak RGB models.

All Peak RGB LEDs cycle through a range of colors randomly.
In models that have more than one LED, they are also asynchronous, creating a miasma of colors.
Aww man...

Well, at least I know.

The points of the original post are still valid.

Not all of the products and options are on the website. The page is outdated (there is still an April Spring Sale advertised on the main page). It is hard to navigate the site and there is no way to search for anything.

Let's say I wanted a Matterhorn in HA in the lug style of body. How would I go about ordering that from the website? I can't. For most people, if it is not on the website, it doesn't exist. Sale lost.

Then there is the matter of rating everything in candlepower. Candlepower? Seriously? What other company rates their LEDs in candlepower?

Keep the site updated.
Make the site easier to navigate.
Create a search function.
List all of the products and options on the website.
Get more sales.

I also bought my Peak out of knowledge I got from the product lineup sticky thread. I think having an online store front, might be as simple as ebay store ,to list a complete product line, may promote awareness and results in better sale IMO

While an updated website would be great, i actually prefer to call over the phone and speak to a live human being. I have gotten so much more information speaking to Robyn or Curt over the phone than i would have just browsing their website, updated or not. They really are nice folks to talk to.

And Curt is really just full of..........

information. 😀

Ditto here............

Curt is also really full of..........

great customer service.:twothumbs

An improved website, especially in this day & age, would be a big help in boosting sales.

Great customer service over the phone is absolutely wonderful. But the website is where interested new buyers are likely to turn to first... and sad to say, it doesn't make for a good first impression.

Robyn mentioned in one of the Eiger threads that the website will be changing soon. Maybe it's a hint...all she mentioned is that the Eiger will be on it soon. With all the questions and comments about their website, maybe when the Eiger is added, so will be an updated website. Looking forward to the Eiger addition and possibly a new website!

Agree 100%. The only way I found out that the Baltic is the spittin' image of the L0D is because I called and asked. Yes, my call got golden customer service, but why isn't the website as good? If you run an online business, getting a website designer that will give you record breaking sales ain't that tough or expensive. Makes you wonder sometimes about the business acumen of some online businesses :sigh: .

Poor website. Confusing model lineup. Generally report candlepower not lumens. Spotty attendance on the CPF pages leaving many members' questions unanswered. Many models aren't even pictured. Generally only one level per light.

This is balanced by the fact that they make some really nice lights!

They are the smart pupil that just doesn't reach his/her potential!

Maybe...just maybe...they are happy just the way they are.
They fill a niche- and I would rather deal with a company
that designs and sells a product I like and can count on
than deal with the biggest company.
Simplicity and Reliablity- makes me a satisfied customer.
Oh- and that little fact that they actually MAKE a quality
product here in America gives me a glimmer of hope that
some more DURABLE items might be made here once again.

To this day, I want to see a nicer website, sorted by battery size. I'd prefer to see lumens ratings and a battery life

I think everyone can agree that a quality website with a web configuration tool to build their million and one combinations would immensely increase interest and pay for itself quickly. However it seems that larger sales volumes may not be their desire since our calls for improvement fall on deaf ears year after year.

Another reason for not using them, could be the missing email response, i.e. getting a light that looks like this:

And not getting any answer on a complain, does not improve confidence in them.

But I like their lights and the possibility of getting them in a lot of different finishing. My favorite is stainless steel.

HKJ -

I am sorry - this is the first I have heard of an issue with you light - I will take care of this ASAP.

Best regards,

Robyn
