Why did i ever hear about green laser

Whele im still waiting for my pointer but i decided i want to buy PGL3 also /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif.

I have these questions:

1. What is the best place to buy them (aka cheapest) /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/broke.gif
2. Does any seller offer discunt if buy 2 (my friend wants one too) /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif.
3. What is the diffrence betwen FDA approved or not approwed /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif?
4. Would it be cheaper to buy a non transpotable module /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif?
5. Did anyone moded this monster /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon15.gif?
6. If anyone has PGL3 or similiar module for sale, feel free to contact me /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif.

The answers I know.
1. like superbert said, cnilaser, but there might be other places out there somewhere...who knows.
2. No discount for 2 except maybe for the shipping and the fact that you will only need to pay for one international wiretransfer( about $45), they might start giving discounts when you buy 10 or more at a time.
3.The FDA approved model will be allowed through customs into the US (oh yes, you will need to pay to get it through customs in most cases as well (about $60) The FDA model has both a safety interlock on the back as well as a key that goes into the side to unlock the laser, it also has an "aperture shutter" over the front that needs to be opened to used the laser and lastly there is a 2 second delay built in from the time the laser is turned on to the time it starts lasing. The non-FDA model does not have all the safety features, but it won't be allowed into the US, if your not in the US then you need to check your laws.

5. Shiftlock has modified a slightly older version of the PGL3 and he's got 305mw out of it and reckons he can get 400mw+ out of it too.
