Hi all.
I look for driver that can power my DRL (2 modules of 4-6 Cree XP-E/G) from automotive voltage, so requirements for shared between both modules driver are:
Uin = 10-14 V
Uout = 12-18 V
Iout = 200-3500 mA
Dimming by PWM or by Iout changing.
I have used WEBENCH, that counsels me use Boost driver, based on LM3423/LM3434.
Specifications are looked very impressive, price (~1.75$) quite low.
So why there are no one known drivers, that use this stuff? What's wrong?
And, by the way, who knows appropriate driver for me?
Efficiency isn't important at all since it will be powered from automotive only.
