Will Alkaline 3xC cells fit into 3xC "AW" body?

Are you talking about an AW C LiIon body? The AW C LiIons were slightly longer than a standard C so with 3 of them you might not have reliable contact. Which light body are you scheming about?

They will fit, but you´ll have to stretch the springs to make reliable contact.
