Will AW soft-start M@g switch (with KIU socket) handle 64432 & 64440 pin thickness?

I have a M@g D-cell with the discontinued AW soft-start 3-stage switch. I am thinking of possibly trying out the Osram 64432 and 64440 bi-pin bulbs with this setup, using 5xIMR Li-ion cells, but have read that the maximum pin thickness that the KIU ceramic socket of this switch will safely handle without damage is 1mm. I have not been able to find the pin thickness of these bulbs listed on data sheets, even though they list just about every other measurement imaginable.

Before I order either of these bulbs, I wanted to ask if anyone here has actually used either of these bulbs in the AW switch configuration. Thank you!

G6.35 are 1mm pin thickness while GY6.35 are 1.25mm pin thickness.
If total wattage of recalculated overdriven bulb is more than specification, then you may damage the switch.

From 5 x IMR Li-Ion cells I suggest running the Osram 64458 bulb, that will work fine with the AW soft-start switch and KIU socket. Personally I think it is a better bulb than the 64432.

Currently I'm moving my AW switch w/64458 from my 4D running 5 x 26500 IMR cells to my 6D which will run 6 x 32650 LiFePO4 cells, this will give me more capacity and the LiFePO4 cells are a longer lived chemistry it terms of total lifetime. It also gives my 6D the sort of output that such a big light deserves. It is actually a 6.5D thanks to an extension tube I bought from fivemega, this allows the 32650 cells to fit since the standard D cells are only 32600 (60mm long vs 65mm long) in size.

How many watts can a standard M@g switch safely handle?
