Will I turn into a Maglite fan once again?

This evening a 2 cell ML100 was in use to guide me to my concrete slab that Mrs Fixer calls "the patio". That's a mason jar tiki torch she made.

Clouds quickly passed by masking and unmasking the moon as a cool air mass was replacing a tropical one.

The beam of the ML100 is very much like the beam of an ML25. It's programable like the 50, 150, and 300. But one neat trick the ML100 and 125 have is the ability to tweak the beam beyond just twisting the head. You can dial the LED itself.

Wow @bykfixer that is a cool looking tiki torch!
I'm impressed.
The lids come with the wick and a snuffer cap. It fits the small size Mason jars.

She paints them.

A solar lamp she made for next to the shed door.

Another solar lamp.
The 12" pinwheel in the background has been an occasional chew thing for our newest dog. Hence the missing petal.

That is the light that I take when I travel. I have lit up a couple parking lots with it from the motel room. You are correct about it being bright.

Nice Lights Mr. Fixer!! I was watching a youtube video yesterday by oddity odysseys about the underground river under St. Louis. One of the gentlemen on the video was using a rechargeable Maglite. I think it was the ML150 when you see how far the beam was throwing down the tunnel it was hard not to fall in love with Mag! I pulled out mine to play with for a bit last night. LOL

Have you guys had any LiFePO4 battery problems with the ML150s? I've seen talk online about batteries dying early, and I just picked up a barely used one and its battery is toast.

Edited for battery type

If you mean the LiFePO4 battery of the ML150LR I do have an issue with that. It looks like it had a leak similar to an Alkaline battery after about 1 year. And that was when I charged it once a month (maybe should have charged it more often).

Since the replacement for it is so expensive in my country (€69 (~$77)) I haven't replaced it. I did in the meantime buy a Lumintop DF1 with a similar style battery which I'm hoping isn't going to show the same issue. Haven't found an off-brand alternative either.

If you leave the tailcap tightened on the 150 it will drain the battery beyond ability to recharge. (Or the Maglite charger will). I read somewhere that the charger needs X volts and more to engage and an energy level below that the charger will not charge it.
Loosen tailcap when not in use, no problems 2 years later.

Sounds logical, but that's some fairly high parasitic drain, And it previously service nightstand duty I probably either had to keep it on the charger or charged weekly. Loosening the tailcap would defeat the purpose of having it as bump in the night light on the nightstand (but it's not the only one at least).
