will P61 in a Maxfire LX ruin the lens???

Has anybody had any trouble with the lens getting too hot and maybe melting or somoething?

My LX lens is glass, and I have many hours of P61 usage without ill effect, infact I burned one out a few weeks ago in my LX rechargeable.

I was dinking with my 2L Maxfire yesterday and was very pleased and suprised that the lense was glass!

I may need to get another P60. I was messing with it because the beam didn't look as good as I remebered. None of my simple tricks helped either.

So a P60 seems like a decent thing to use.
