Will the ZL SC52 circuit appear in H502 form?

In the LED forum, there's a thread about an exciting new development:

Zebralight is releasing a new XML AA clicky, the SC52. Looks very cool!

Same UI as the H502, but straight out the front (i.e. not right-angled), and with a decent-sized reflector (in fact, a bit bigger than the SC51 reflector).

But the thing I find most intriguing is this:

The circuit is optimized *both* for Eneloops (280 lumens), and for 14500s, on which it will give 500 lumens!

So here's my question: do you think they'll release a new H502 with the new circuit in it?

It would be fabulous to have 14500 support for the H502 (i.e. not just the ability to run a 14500, but the ability to really take advantage of it!)

On the other hand, perhaps the additional circuitry takes up more room? The SC52 bezel will have enough to accommodate it; the H502 might not.

Exciting times!

It really doesn't need to be able to run a 14500 as it is already pretty much nailing what it intends to do.
Not only that, the extra heat generated could be a lot harder to dissipate due to the lower mass (H502: 29g vs SC52 : 40g) providing less heat sinking.

Don't get too excited about "500 lumens with a 14500 battery", I think I read somewhere that it might step down to 280 lumens after 1(?) minute to avoid getting too hot. So great for impressing people and for short bursts, but no extended use (it always helps to read the fine print).

Well, yeah, it's a single AA (or 14500) flashlight. I don't think it should require fine print to have an inkling that it won't do 500 lm for very long. It is already exciting that it can do 500 lm at all.

I use my H502d in bursts of less than 30 seconds (usually much less than that), so the "only 1 minute before step down" won't feel like much of a limitation to me, for the way I would use the light.
