Will this drop in work with the G2?

I was looking at that [^^^^^^^^^] cree drop-in and I was wondering if anyone has confirmed that it works with the G2, and if so, beamshots?(any would be welcome, but both white wall and outdoors would be good)

I think I remember seeing someone post that this drop-in would work in a G2 but that the bezel couldn't be completely tightened, i.e. you'd have a small gap. Sorry I can't be more precise.

It will fit, but you may need an O-ring.

the website states that the drop-in will work in the g2 but it may be nessesary to remove one of the springs......hope that helps

Well, looks like a good drop-in, but I think I'll wait for the LED G2. I like the polymer, was looking for an LED light, higher output is awesome, and the longer runtime is frickin sweet. it has everything I need in a light except a low mode, which I will get with a couple Microlights or something. This is a big candidate for a Christmas present.
