Guy's I've suffered enough. I have the standard "ski" type mittens and gloves. The trouble is when you sweat they become clammy and then it's very hard to dry them out as they are not conducive to being turned inside out. Any recommendations gloves and mittens that are warm and can somehow circumvent this problem? I mean warm, not these thin type driving gloves but ones you can wear outside in the bitter cold.

Get a pair of Gordini Leather ski gloves, I have had mine for 6 years, they are wonderful.

Not sure what you're doing with them - Mittens will always be warmer than gloves.

I'd recommend windblock fleece gloves over most leather or other type of ski gloves. These will breathe better than most other ski type gloves if sweaty hands is a problem.

I wear the grip tex fleece gloves myself, they're not wind proof, but they never hold moisture.

Some of these are designed for ice climbing, etc. If they don't keep your hands warm, you're outta luck.
