Hi,
I would like to know if you ever heard of a solution that has a RGB LED which is not electrical powered but battery or supercap powered.
I need it to last for years, so i thought about adding one of those new ultra thin solar panels.
Would that work?
In addition, it should light constantly and be seen to dozens of meters, not more.
I need it to be running indoors with indoors lamp as a "solar" source - is it even possible?
If not, do you have another creative idea for this?

Thanks a lot for your answers.

Ok this sounds like the same question you are asking in the other thread you started.

Please clarify on the following questions in order for others to help.

1 What is the purpose of this project? Do you want a light bright enough to read/navigate by or just as an indicator?

2 Why do you want a red green blue led? Why not just one color or even white?

3 Why do you want it to be battery/solar powered? Is there no power at this location?

4 When you say solar panel indoors, do you mean the solar panel is located inside this room or outside in the sun light?

5 Do you want this to be on 24/7 or will it just be on when the room is dark?

Hi,
Thanks you for your reply.
Yeah, it's about the same issue as the 2nd thread.

Thanks again.
