After successfully putting together a Mag458, I've come to the conclusion my PILA IBC isn't gonna cut it anymore. I've heard alot of good things about the Triton 2 EQ and the possibility of wiring it for balance use rather then simply charging in parallel. I've seen a balance setup done with magnets, but I'd rather run a cradle.

How do I wire this charger for balance use with a cradle? I'd like to be to charge anywhere from one to five cells at a time. Here is a picture of the balance harness. http://www.electrifly.com/chargers/gpmm3156-inset2-lg.jpg

You need to find out how the Triton's balance port is wired so that you know where to run the wires to the cells. For example, here is a balance port wiring diagram for a different hobby charger. Most likely, the Triton's balance port is wired the same as shown below. If you don't want to cut your existing harness, you can buy a second one. Splice wires to the harness and run the splices to the series cradle in accordance with the balance port wiring diagram. Or if you have a balance board, you would need to determine how that board is wired, get the appropriate connector for the board, and wire up that connector.

So basically I'm going to have to float my negative output. I can't seem to find any more info about how the Triton is wired out.

Unfortunately, I can't help you with the Triton2 EQ. Maybe call Electrifly?

This link might be useful for some ideas on building your cradle.
