I keep coming back to the Strion as the ideal bulb for a single 26650 cell. I already have a lovely host with side clicky—the ubiquitous Mag 2C—and 26650 cells are common enough. Why not a Strion to PR adapter for the Mags?
I can't imagine they would be that expensive to make.
1) Is there one out there I missed?
2) How much would it cost for someone to make one for me?
According to fivemega, Strion uses G2, T1.5 pin specs.
EDIT: Called Carley lamps. They want $1,500 for a prototype. No thanks. I'll update this thread once I have one in my hand, or, once we build one. If I can find someone in CPF to build me one, I'll update the thread as found.
If my dad and I wind up building one, perhaps we can move the thread to "Homemade and Modified." 🙂
