Custom Build 4xR2 Flashlight on DEFT look-like body.
- 4 Cree R2
- 3 IC chips
- 1 Custom large Head sink
- 2 Independent set of wiring for 2 LED each
- 2 operation modes Low= 2 LED on, High= 4 LED on.
- 2 stage switch allows 2 set of LED operate independent from each other.
- If one set of LED or IC goes down, the other set of LED/IC will still work, as long as your battery has power left.
High mode add another 2 leds each with it's own chip.
- This flashlight started it's life as the Aspheric build copying DEFT but using 55mm Surplus shed lens.
- It was named the "Kid brother of DEFT" by saabluster after he saw it in the thread here.
