Hello,

I recently came across a Wolf Eyes 9 cobra fl from BattStation. To be short/to the point, this thing is incredible for the money. The fit/finish are outstanding, beam is equal to 9P, better than SF TL3, has LED tailcap as option.

What I wonder is why I haven't heard more about this light on forums. IMHO it is sleeper of the year.

Any other experience with this brand?

Inquisitively yours,

You probably have not heard about them because they are relatively new and made in china. They are supposedly very close in quality to the pila.

PILA and Wolf Eyes are the same lights with different marketing . PILA has it's own line and Wolf-Eyes also has some different models. Made in the same factory.

Supposedly, PILA is authorized to sell in the USA and Wolf-Eyes is not.
Each company has it's own direction when it comes to marketing and design.

PILA has been a lot more responsive to customer service needs than Wolf-Eyes. I have e mailed both companies and always received response from PILA. Never from Wolf-Eyes. PILA also helped me with a problem that was related to a Wolf-Eyes product.

My "on the belt" duty light is the M90. Have used it for a few years. Bigger and heavier than a stinger but brighter with better run time. I like mine a lot.

Pila is their distributor for USA, Wolf Eyes is the distributor for Europe, as I remember correctly! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Wrangler is correct. I have been very pleased with the product and it's durability. My Li-Ion batteries lasted over 2 1/2 yrs being used on a daily basis. They were still working fairly well when I replaced them. Got almost 3 yrs out a lamp.

I don't think the 2aa light is actually a Wolf-Eyes. I think it somehow was placed on the same page

hi Madecov,
their 3 or 4 cell package with charger and batts (either 150 or 168) seems like a damn good deal. Too bad there is too much month left at the end of my money.

Regards,
