Anybody know the difference between the MC-E2

and MC-Explorer?

They appear to have a different head, but every spec given
is the same, and I can't find the answer by searching here or
on Google.

The MC-E2 and the MC-Sniper are the same flashlight with slightly different styling. The MC-Explorer has a smaller head, but Wolf Eyes claims to have improved the beam despite shrinking the head (it is newer than the other two). I have the MC-Explorer, but no other Wolf Eyes MC-E to compare it to.

Thanks! I'll get the Explorer then. Even though I find the multiple concentric rolls of metal a bit ugly. Kinda like that kid who went overboard with the lathe when you made gavels in shop class.

Sorry to resurrect this thread, but I'm still slightly confused about the difference between the MC-E2 and the MC-Explorer. They clearly both use the same emitter assembly (D37 with same runtime and output is quoted), they both have the same size head (42mm according to Wolf-Eyes specs), and they both have the same UI. So the only difference I can see is styling -- the MC-E is slightly longer, heavier and IMO looks nicer.

What am I missing?! I guess it's somewhat a moot point since the MC-E2 doesn't appear to be available from any US retailers.

Also wanted to check that the WE LRB168 battery is essentially the same as an 18650 and that the WE charger will also charge an 18650.
