I would like one of your affordable Deft lights if there are any still available. The options are confusing. If I understand it correctly, the R2 and Q5 are the brightest. What you are selling is bright and long throwing so I don't understand all the lesser options. Having said that I'll take whatever is available. If you only have 3A's available, I would like one. can you tell me how much less bright than the R2's thay are? My order of preference is R2, Q5, 3A. I'll take what is available. I live in Gackle ND and my zip is 58442. If you still have one available just let me know how much to PaypaL. sounds like a great light.

Well that's 12 lights shipped folks! I think there are still 2 or three Q3 3A lights ready for purchase. For those who would rather have the R2 WH I can say they are coming I just don't know when. Waiting on LEDs from Cutter to get here and don't know when they will get here. I get the feeling they got put on the slow boat. There has been much interest in more of the high-output versions. I was basically clearing out old stock using those and don't have any more built although I have parts for 2 or 3. I really hate having to build those as they are a bit more tedious but I will consider it. Thanks guys. -Michael

Yes. I have a few emails yet to send from the last round but I generally send a note with the shipping info right after your light ships.

Just got mine! Thanks for packing it taped together with painter's tape. It was really easy to undo but still very safe and secure.

Even indoors, I can tell that the focus is different than my DEFT-Enthusiast. The bezel is much more stiff than I thought it looked in pictures. Perfect! The only thing I miss is the extra bright glow when it's off that can only come from impregnating the pill itself with glow powder. :sigh:

I'll post more impressions when night falls. Like I said, even inside I can tell that the focus is different than the other DEFT. Just for reference's sake, I have one of the later ones with the precollimator. 😀
