Would a Scorpion replacement bulb work in the Legend LX?

I know they are different in length, therefore the filiment would not rest at the same vertical position if the bulbs were swapped.

I guess it would be better to ask where I could pick up some Legend LX bulbs. I've gone to the Brinkman site, and it's a joke!

I know you can call Brinkmann directly and order them. I think they are $7.95 shipped.

Their web site is a joke, just like Surefires.

Orion,
I called Brinkmann a couple of months ago. The LX bulbs were $5.95, shipping included. The Nexstar bulbs were 2 for $4.95, shipping included. I don't know what the price is for 2 LX bulbs or a mix of LX and Nexstar. I assume they cut you some kind of deal for the shipping.

For comparison, what's the price on the scorpion's bulbs?

Hello kindered spirts, The scorpion bulb does not work with the Brinkmann LX, the number to call for replacement bulbs is 1-800-468-5252.
The bulb is a T-1 3/4 xenon bi-pin. I could not find this bulb any other site. The cost is only $3.95 each, and shipping is free. I suggest ordering several.

Great help guys!!

Is there any reason why you'd want to put a P60 in there? It costs far more than the stock bulb and puts out equal light. Granted, the SureFire bulbs are supposed to last longer, but I'd say the cost issue offsets this...

???

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">The only reason why you would want to put a P60 in there, is to never have the light go out of focus. I think the general concensus is that the stock LX is a little brighter than the P60. I put the P61 in one of my LX's and do like it! a Little brighter maybe, but much larger hot spot.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">Thanks. This is helpful to me for reasons not related to the LX.

So now I have a question for all of you. Where do you get Scorpion bulbs? I don't have a scorpion, but I have a use for these bulbs.

The best price I've found is at Cabela's for $3.99 with shipping being $4 (which is about the min cost you'll find for shipping). TX

I bought 3 of them from Brinkman. Just over $15 shipped. So, my task has been accomplished.

Thanks for all the input!

What about a mod of the LX with a spacer to use an E2 MN02 or MN03? It would be nice if you could get decent light and a good fixed focus beam with the head tightened all the way down and not have to worry about the bi-pin bulb working lose over time.
