Just wondering.

I'd be in for around 100 AA's and a few AAA's

Just depends on whether you can find someone to sell you a bulk lot cheap.
100AA's :wow:

George, if you want that many you should be able to do a bulk purchase yourself. As Norm said, you now just have to find someone to sell to you at a suitable price.

George,

As mentioned, I would bet you would probably do pretty well with any of the smaller shops, especially ones that have a relationship w/ CPF.

I think that with the weight of these cells compared to their cost, a LOT of the savings would vanish when the group's buyer added shipping costs from the outlet to him, AND to get each lot out to it's respective buyer.

I bought my 1st set of eneloops almost 2 yrs ago when a Japanese member arranged a group buy. I can't remember the price but it was pretty good even including the shipping. The cells are still going strong.

One of the better regular prices is $20 for 8AA and free shipping from Amazon if you meet the $25 min order.
