Hello!

I haven't done much with lights these past few years but every now and again...

I have a custom, warmish white Malkoff "D" cell drop-in which draws around 200mA at 9V and puts out maybe (?) 80 to 100 lumens.

When Gene built the module for me in 2011, we used an XP-G R4 5C1.

Time does great things for our hobby, and I would like the emitter swapped for a Neutral White (4000K 95 CRI) Luminous SST-20.

I'll be vacationing with family in Western NY for a week, and am hoping there might be a modder in Rochester, Geneseo, Livonia, etc...who could swap in the SST-20 on the spot for me.

I'll also be in the Lower Hudson Valley for a bit after my trip; so, that is another possibility, as well as the greater Boston area.

However, finding someone in Western NY would mean being able to use the light on our family's trip.

Question One:

Is there anybody out there in Western NY who happens to have a 4000K 95 CRI SST-20 sitting around?

Question Two:

About how many lumens could one expect from a

Neutral White (4000K 95 CRI) Luminous SST-20

at approximately 200mA drive current?

Question Three:

Does approximately six hours runtime off three 3V CR123A cells...sound right?

Please post directly in this thread if you can help.

Thank you! :)

EDITS:

1) It looks like a Cree XP-L2 V5 4000K would break 100 lumens and still be a nice CCT; that would work, too!
