WTB original preon p1 (smooth sides)

Looking for one of the original P1's with the smooth tapered sides. Titanium would be a bonus. Users welcomed. Please send me pictures and prices.

Hey mate,

Long time collector and member here (I have a sales thread with some Surefires at the moment as well).

I have a an original Preon 1 in Titanium, with custom flame-coloured Titanium top cap and black clip, with what looks like a pure white beam (XP-G or XP-G2 ... can't remember). It has the original (nicer in my eyes!) four sevens logo too!

It has sat in my display cabinet most of the time I have owned it, with the other time spent wrapped up carefully in storage.

Works perfectly with 3 light levels, and is the smallest prettiest flashlight I own. I haven't polished it or removed all fingerprints / dust for the photos, but being Titanium you could polish it to a mirror finish .... or make it totally matt! My brother purchased one at the same time and sanded his lightly to a matt finish.

Cost me a bit to buy from Australia initially, along with having another CPF member flame colour the top cap!

Note that I have never had a parcel go missing before, and I always wrap my goods well! I have also always had an excellent sales history and interactions with buyers. But as usual, once posted it is in the hands of the postal gods.

Thanks for reaching out and that is a beautiful light! I'm actually in the UK now but still have an address in the U.S. as well.

I definitely would like to get that but might have to wait a bit to gather some funds.

I've been sorting through my stuff and found the optional Titanium Clicky Switch that I had purchased as well.

I never used it, as I just had the flame-coloured Ti flat top on for my display cabinet.

Correct me if I'm mistaken, but isn't that a custom-made tail cap? I remember someone offering them ten or eleven years ago. That's a very cool piece of 4Sevens history, @d337944.

Great question. I can't remember which seller I purchased it from, but I bought it separately from the Preon 1. So it may be custom? Either way, its a great tailcap!
