I'm really wanting to get my hands on my EDC version. And this will be my first V54 to actually go to work with me everyday (replacing my current EDC I1 EOS). L and M will be perfect in the back of all the computer and server racks, under the desks and under floor where we spend much of the time fixing most of our hardware issues. It'll come in handy walking out to our radomes to check our antennas and RF subsystems during nightshift checks also. We work very closely with our SW counterparts, and that reminds me of a joke that pretty much defines our working relationships:

How many software engineers does it take to change a lightbulb?

None, its a hardware issue!

Yes indeed a D25Cvn V3

Man, this D25Cvn (not mine unfortunately, bought this for my brother) is crazy bright for its size and although it does not have the bells and whistle modes (strobe and so on) of the original driver, it is much more practical and easy to use IMO. Simple H M L without having to twist the head and remember settings and sequences. Good brightness spacings between H M & L too with a nice low (only seen during the day unfortunately) and the medium visually looking half the brightness of high.

In comparison to my SRT3, this is half the size (this thing is tiny) but more than twice as bright (to my eye in daylight). Oh and did I mention this thing is crazy bright. Love the tint of the PDTn too, awesome job, thanks Wayne :thumbsup: My brother is another happy chap. Damn, Now I have to get one for myself...

This light is the last part of my $1k order
