Re: WTS: D25Cvn V3 Ti - The Micro Searchlight (Must Have)

Got mine today D25Cvn V3 XPG2 PDTc Fiat Lux fully loaded.
This light is amazing. When i came home from job my wife smiled from ear to ear and said it was a flashlight in the mailbox to day , and she was impressed how bright it was and how small it is, i think she said it twice , and the funniest is that she have newer cared about flashlights..

Thanks vinh.:)

Arild:)

Re: WTS: D25Cvn V3 Ti - The Micro Searchlight (Must Have)

Just sent a message to Vinh to ready my order and I don't know if I've missed it, but beamshot comparisons would help. Are there any yet and those of you who have more than one, or at least have been following closely, which variation seems to be the most popular?

Don't think there are any comparisons. Haven't seen any XP-G shots at all.

Vinh replied back that his favorite was the XP-G2 PDTc and I haven't responded yet back to him because I thought it might be worth waiting to see the recommendations of some of you guys.

What I'd like is the most versatile version of this light and not interested in a throw-specialty light.

Ya he said the same to me via email...then I disregarded that and got XP-L dome on because I'm a lumen-whore...

Re: WTS: D25Cvn V3 Ti - The Micro Searchlight (Must Have)

I don't know about y'all but I always thought the GITD boot was a bit of a gimmick. However, I'm a FIRM believer in that thing now! I'm at my parents house for the holidays and sleeping in the basement bedroom which is pitch black at night. I put the D25Cvn on the nigh table last night after wearing it all day, and it hadn't been in anything brighter than standard indoor lighting all night. That little boot glowed PLENTY bright to be seen ALL night. It was in the dark for about 10 hours and this morning when I woke up it seemed just as bright as when I was falling asleep. I was BLOWN away that it would last that long. Makes it excellent as a camping light so it can be found in the dark.

Just wanted to add to this thread how helpful that GITD boot is, it's not just a gimmick!

Have an unrelated questions TSA / other country versions of TSA and Li-on batteries are really becoming an issue just got back from Central America. I must say it seems like it's getting worse and worse you would think Li-on was c4. My baggage has been pulled 4 times now this after each security wrapped in polystyrene and boxed in hose little plastic battery boxes and shrink wrapped the boxes.

I fly roughly 100 times per year, carry on your flashlight if its small. i have never been hassled and the TSA supervisor said it was fine to carry on. No clue with customs though. IMPORTANT SIDE NOTE :my advice is generally terrible, good luck.

Congratulations and welcome to the club! Better prepare your budget for more to come, as it usually just takes one Vinh light to become addicted! :D
