Hi there kj2,soon as i get some time and dark i will do best over next few days for you. Wont be best pics .........but you know that

It has awesome colour rendition to my eyes, perfect for me edging towards the cooler side. Not fully tested yet,but from in a dark room, colours are not washed out in anyway.

Re: WTS: PD35vn - RCB 2

Thanks for sharing the pictures! That looks amazing.

Re: WTS: PD35vn - RCB 2

Thanks blah, loving it a lot🙂 amazing how vinh works his magic and squeezes 4 xp-l's and optics in such a small head. Love the wall of light it puts out in a neutral/cool tint.

Re: WTS: PD35vn - RCB 2

Couple of quick pics with colour, took in madisons room full of monster high colours

Both on turbo so pd35 washes out(of course you would use a lower mode but to keep at similar level)
To show colours, pics took on iphone 6+
pd35 washes out due to throw

pd35vn quad took a little closer and no washing out due to flood

Will get some outside when get chance....

Re: WTS: PD35vn - RCB 2

Nice, that's what I love about my triple - being able to get things nice and bright without much glare. Awesome light.

Re: WTS: PD35vn - RCB 2

Yes ,thats why my preference is more towards flood as its just more useful for me and my requirements in general. 🙂

Just realized kj2 it's 2x5000k and 2x6500k for the xpl . I wanted around 5700k tint and there were no 5700k.

For you kj2🙂 no tripod and canon here, just used iphone 6+ which does create failry accurate pics of what i see, even with auto-balancing🙄

control and wait for the car!

PD35vn Quad

I dont have a colourfull front, but the greens and purples(bush at back) are well represented to my eyes anyway.

Quite surprised how far it pushes the light out,no thrower but wall is an easy 40ft,caravan must be getting on for 120ft ish as quite a wide road being on the corner.

Very happy is an understatement.the pd35 is a fav light of mine anyway, now its just astonishing but edc sized ...........just. Just an awesome package kj2,if pondering i would highly recommend a triple or quad in a tint of your desire. Its with me all the time right now.

Comp pic is the pd35 2104 to show

Sorry not the best, rach even said"why dont you go and get the camera and set it up properly" what could i say other than a big🙄 to me

Next time i will get set up and do a few VN lights
Cheers ven

Thnx Ven 🙂 Those combined leds give, what it looks to me, a nice blend of CW and NW. Personally I'm more a CW person, although the tint on my new ZL SC32w is really nice 😀 Also like the 4000K tint of my Wizard Pro warm, so think if I would go for a triple or quad, I would select all to be 4000K.

Yes 5000k so on edge of cooler neutral and cool 6500k,nice 5700k of which is my fave tint. Cool, but good colour rendition like my triple quad................5000 OTF floodiness of 5700k from 12x xp-l's=perfect for me. This is like a mini edc version in one of my fav lights, love the UI,size and of course that fenix build/feel of quality. More so over the acebeams ec32.

I wouldbe tempted then at 2x4000k and 2x5000k xp-l's ,would be an amazing neutral tint.

120 dollars for a single XPG2 led??

EDIT: Nevermind! Figured it out

I've got a Fenix PD35vn PDTc- have had it for about a year now. When I first got it I just put regular Panasonic NCR18650B Protected Circuit batteries in them and there was no output difference between high and turbo. After searching around for how to get the maximum potential out of my modified light I ordered a high drain Samsung INR18650-25r 2500mah battery. With the 25r I get a discernible difference between high and turbo, BUT it seems like after just using the light a few times, turbo drops right back down to the high level output and there is no difference anymore. This is only after using the light 4 or 5 times at a minute or so per use. Is this normal? Are there any high drains out there that would allow me to get full potential of the higher current draw for longer than just a few minutes of total turbo time?

Get LG3500 or Sanyo 18650GA Both are 10 amp hybrids.

LG HG2 are really impressive too. They hold their voltage well in high drain lights.

I have the Sony VTC5's and my highest mode drops down fairly quickly too. Probably not quite that fast though.
