The HD10 is essentially a TS10 with USB-C charging, a Right angle head, tailmagnet, and headband.
HD10 Firmware is version number 0713-0
factory reset defaults:
ceiling 130 gives 585 lumens and DUV 0.0037
tactical gives 420 lm
this firmware is configured to use Last Mode Memory. It can also be changed to use Manual Memory and Hybrid memory.,
In stock configuration, the clip goes below the head. This is not useful. I flip the body so the clip ends up below the tailcap and allows me to carry in a pocket head down.
The magnet is too weak for horizontal use. SOLVED by adding a magnet under the spring. fwiw 12x3 mm magnets are available in a 5 pack for 99 cents, including free shipping, Aliexpress item 3256805435806689
The HD10 weighs 13 grams more than the TS10. With battery that is 27% heavier. The HD10 head is a bit larger, and the light is a bit longer than my TS10:
flashing pads are reversed and hard to see to get lined up but worked to create a backup with my personal options changes:
set battery blinks to Red
set Aux to Red
disable POVD, Turbo, and smooth steps
change stepped ramp (both simple and advanced) to 12 steps
set all ceilings to 110 = 280 lumens, DUV of ceiling 110 is 0.0051 (ceiling 120 = 407 lumens, ceiling 130 = 565 lm)
set all floors to 5 = 0.06 lumens
The HD10 has the benefit of built in USB charging, which makes it a total package with no need for a separate charger. I also find it very convenient to have a tailmagnet on a Right angle light, when not using the headband.
