I got this light and really don't like it. I don't like the way it works. I am hopeing there is a way to change the way it operates.

I have had it for a few months now and only use it occasionally so I never get used to how it operates. You have to quickly click it 4 times to turn it on. It is very anoying when you need it and pick it up and click to turn it on and it does not work. You then have to remember how to turn it on.

I was trying to use it today and was doing the "click 4 times" trying to turn it on. It went into some other mode where it does not stay on unless you hold the button down. If you let go of the button it turns off. I have tried removing the battery but that does not change anything. So it is usesless now.

Does anyone have instructions on how to proogram this thing?

Thats not the way mine works at all. You have to click mine 4 times quickly for it to turn on. That was when it was working, it appears to have entered some strange mode. The light on the button is constantly on now. I have to click and hold to get the light on, then while holding the button, it rotates from low, medium, high, low .... Single click or 4 clicks do nothing from off now.

You must have the older version with anduril? I know nothing about using that. There are lots of manuals, how to and maps.
Someone just posted a map on cpf.

run a search.

The TS22 has an "auto lockout" feature. If the light is off for more than 3 minutes, it automatically goes into Lockout mode. Double click to turn the light on after auto-lock has been activated. Then you can follow the input commands listed above. You can also program the switch button light with 5 clicks from off (not lockout) to cycle through on/flash/off.

That doesn't sound right at all. Your light might honestly be defective.
To reset anduril, disconnect battery, then while reconnecting
HOLD DOWN PWR BUTTON
fl will respond w ramp fr low to highest.
Latest version of anduril uses 4C for
Lockout. You only get momentary mode.
If you click 5x by mistake, puts you in momentary mode and only reset/disconnect will get you out.
Make sure you are using correct instructions for
Your version of anduril.

I personally have a Wurkkos TS10 with Anduril.
It sure as heck doesn't function like themcnabs' TS22.

I must have put it in momentary mode.

When I hold down the power button it does ramp from low to high but does not return to normal mode.
I have tried removing the battery with no locuk.

How do I reset/disconnect to get out of momentary mode?

If you have an anduril fl, then you have to disconnect battery AND hold down pwr button WHILE RECONNECTING.
At this point, I would reach out to wurkkos customer service

I had sent wurkkos.com a note a few days ago, they just determined the flashlight is bad. They are sending me a replacement.

If I can't change the 4 click to turn it on, I will be getting rid of it.

Yeah, it sucks that this is how it is, but at least they are wanting to take care of it.

btw, I was reading that they started using their own firmware. I think this is where I (some ppl) can get confused. Updates and upgrades can happen incrementally without notice.
