Mt. Lowe - Mt. Wilson area is good. There're some hidden waterfalls to find etc.

Or Griffith Park if ya don't want to drive.

The devils backbone above Malibu is cool too.

Yeah, eaton canyon to mt wilson toll road (through henninger flats) is my personal favorite. Griffith is too crowded although someone told me recently that there are lesser known trails there too. gotta look up devils backbone :) thanks man!

Garapito Canyon trail which starts at the very top end of Reseda Blvd. is quite awesome. It is as close to Blair Witch as you will get, short of wandering into the Angeles National Forest.

I considered all options and after careful thinking, Vinh's X65vn NW is the best value. It has 10,500 ANSI lumens in neutral white and 1,575 meters throw. The Henlin SL-3570 costs the same, but is 6,800 lumens with 1,400 meters of throw. Thanks guys. 👩🏼❤️💋👨

I am waiting for dark, I got my second X65vn Spec 1 in the mail this morning. And the Manker MK34vn Spec 5, too.

Pic shows my current lineup. My first X65 (and Vinhs' first one, the same one that Vinh pictured in post #46 of this topic thread) has the rear lanyard ring removed to facilitate use with the K70 head holster.

In current rotation: Two X65vn Spec1, TK75vnQ70 domes on, P60vn Quad XP-L HD 2 cell host Cryos Cu head 4,300 lumens, Manker MK34vn Spec 5 7,650 lumens.

Twin tower of Power!!! Nice Rich!
Real nice. 11,500 lumens in one hand, 11,400 lumens in the other hand, to equal 23,000 lumens in a well tempered beam profile. There is nothing like it in the hand-held led world.

1300kcd both together :naughty:
We had a huge wind storm last night where I live, in central Outer Kafkaesqueia. Tons of particulate matter in the air. I am going out again tonight to be at the edge of the outer limits of the hand held led light world. It's tough being there, but someones' got to do it. :)

I will have to find another human being with a camera and get some beamshots taken and posted.

Thanks, ven. And you guys, too, helping to keep the world illuminated, one person at a time. :)

Everyone loves beamshots so here is my K70 vs X65vn lighting up a bridge 700+meters away(2300ft). The k70 is an amazing flashlight but good lord the X65vn is ridiculous!!!

As I scrolled through the pictures, I laughed out loud at the X65vn image!

I have the TN40vn and it astounds me. I can only imagine the shock of seeing the X65vn for the first time!

I regularly look at nice beamshots on the German forum, and I can say that your beamshots are absitivly posolutely killer diller up to the hilt!

I will be walking my friends dogs tonight, in a hilly neighborhood. I will not be taking two X65VNs with me. Only one.

After all these weeks/months, the X65 is still tops in my book. That is why, when I have no dogs with me, I night walk with two. The effect is out of this LED world.

Thanks for the killer beamshots!
